“Boonoonoonoos Bus”
Miss Lou Field Trip
In 2008 Off the Page staged a Miss Lou trip which was extremely well-received. This year, the trip is being re-mounted specially for prep/primary and high school students.
The trip will allow the children to:
The trip will be beneficial to students as it fits into the Ministry of Education's curriculum for Language Arts, Social Studies, and Dramatic Arts.
Children are guaranteed to learn while having a fun time.
The content has been developed by Carolyn Allen, drama, literature, and cultural specialist, and Francine Burton, a trained teacher. The trips themselves will be led by University educated teachers and graduates.
Students will also be given an opportunity to interact first hand with persons who lived and worked with Mrs. Bennett-Coverley.
Cost: $3,500 (transportation provided by us)
Cost: $1,500 (transportation provided by school/student)

- Appreciate the contribution of Miss Lou to the cultural life of Jamaica
- Enjoy her poetry, drama, and television programmes due to our interactive and fun approach
- Learn much more about Kingston and St. Andrew
- Develop their confidence and public speaking skills through performance
