Stops include: University of the West Indies (historic campus), Heroes Park, Downtown Kingston, Trench Town, Devon House for lunch and ice cream


Description
You will first be picked up at your Kingston hotel by your expert guide/driver where you will be placed in a comfortable air conditioned vehicle. You will then be taken to the University of the West Indies which is a historic campus to learn about Jamaica's history from the Tainos to sugar plantations to WWII, and beyond. Following this eye opening experience, you will head to the historic Heroes Park to learn about the persons who fought against slavery and colonialism. You then are taken to Trench Town via Downtown Kingston, one of the most famous neighbourhoods in Jamaica which has produced many musical icons. Then it's on to Devon House to sample the world famous ice cream and patties. At the end of the tour you will be taken back to your hotel, happy to have spent a day exploring this fascinating part of Jamaica.
